As part of our health and self care we have discussed healthy eating and linked it to our Chinese cooking. The children filled their pastry with chicken, bean sprouts, sweet corn, peppers, mushrooms and soy sauce.
The children had a special snack time today. They enjoyed pancakes with lemon and sugar. They watched the story ‘The runaway pancake’ while they ate their snack. We then talked about why we have pancake day and our favourite fillings.
